Summary 英文(一) 鄒羽珊 林宛儒

Unit 1, Reading 2 (Summary)

Tithiya Sharma is a woman whose journey to find the heroes took two years and spanned 45 countries. These heroes were changing the future of their countries, from the clean boulevards of the west to the most underprivileged and conflict-ridden corners of the developing world. She quit her job, moved back in with her parents, and decided to navigate her way alone through some of the world’s trickiest corners. She thought if you help the life of one single person but very meaningful, she thought you’re a hero. Tithiya Sharma determined to use ‘’social media for social good’’, using her journalistic background to blog, tweet, and publish articles about her experiences. Sharma admits that traveling alone was difficult at times, but these experiences have strengthened her. She wants to be a hero of women and work in a women’s right organization, and she is really privileged to what she has.
