2Ac Report: Punctuation

Punctuation
410115411 E2A 王晏綺

一、句點
1.

How will you solve the problem?是正確的用法,但用在 I wonder how you will solve the problem?就不對了,應該使用句點而不是問號。
另外,在客氣的用語中,也是用句點而不是問號。例如:
Will you please give me a call tomorrow.

江軒宇 Reflection: Home

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

In this film, we can clearly see what we have done to our Earth. We have taken so many things for granted, yet still we keep on increasing the want of resources. Take meat for an example, humans plant grains not for people, but mostly for livestock. The demand for meat ascends each year, but we have never thought about those who starve in different countries around the world. To satisfy the minorities’ greed, we sacrifice the lives of majority. Also, because of the Industrial Revolution, the oil marker’s status has greatly been lifted. Although it brings a convenient and efficient world, the side effects, or in other words, “major effects” are global warming and the crisis of resources. Fossil fuel is a non-renewable resource which takes up to millions of years to generate. The gasses released when burning fossil fuel, causing global warming which endangers animals including humans. If we don’t face these problems, human beings eventually will become extinct. If everyone can take some more time to think about our planet and less about ourselves, I believe the Earth would become our one and only HOME.

李婉怡 Reflection: Home

Kimberly Vardeman
The film shows us the changing process of the Earth. It tells us the miracles of lives. For example, the beginning of our earth is chaos. There are no creatures or lives. However, the climate and temperature changed, we have a proper environment to live.
Humans are very important in the natural chain, but we’re not the dominator of the Earth. We could use our technology and intelligence to change the world and make it fit for us more. But, we’re still restrained by nature. We could not survive even though everything is fine only trees are disappeared. We should have a notion that, protecting nature is protecting ourselves.

HOME by Yann Atrhus-Bertrand

75:59
We have created phenomena we cannot control.
Since our origins,
water, air and forms of life are intimately linked.
But recently we have broken those links.
Let's face the facts.
We must believe what we know.
All we have just seen is a reflection of human behavior.
We have shaped the Earth in our image.
We have very little time to change.
How can this century carry the burden of 9 billion human beings
if we refuse to be called to account
for everything we alone have done?
