3) When we talk about contemporary culture, I think diversity and globalization need to be focused. The creation and dissemination of culture has become more and more free，more culture creations are not form as a book or a video, but there are many ways of expression. At the moment of globalization, the speed of cultural communication is fast. How to absorb the excellent cultural forms and retain our own characteristics in the present is what we should all discuss.
4) For contemporary literature, I think the biggest problem is that in the digital age, with the rapid spread of information, it is difficult for many people to have enough patience to read a literary work and think about its connotation. How to slow people down is a question we need to think about contemporary literature. 1. My Chinese name is Chiang, Jaw Chyi (蔣兆淇), and my English name is Alex. I'm 21 years old. My hobbies is watching movies & animations, drawing, playing phone games & Switch games, listening to heavy metal music.
2. I have learned two literatures, one is "Alice in Wonderland", and the other one is "Pride and Prejudice". One of my favorite parts in Dr. Chen's lessons is drawing different story of "Alice in Wonderland". Through "Pride and Prejudice", I have known different characteristics.
3. It means the people's different ways of life in different times. For example, in past times in Taiwan, the married women must to take her husbands' last name, but in recent years is not because of gender equality.
4. My other favorite literatures is "Harry Potter". I prefer to watch movie version because I didn't have more time to read original novels. To make my opinions of cultural interpretation, the old saying "Do in Rome as the Romans do" is my priority thinking when facing different cultures.

Alice in Wonderland taught me that a dream and a little curiosity can go a long way; just look at all of the characters that she encountered and places she went. I have been in Taiwan for three years and in principle I only came to study the Chinese language for 1 year, but then I really liked Taiwan and I saw the opportunity to continue my studies here at the university. My plan so far is until just get degree, because with the current situation, we do not know what changes could come, for example, regarding visas for foreigners, etc. I really enjoy reading 18th century literature and watching the BBC versions of the novels.
