Course Description (English Version)
The course aims to polish students’ skills of English grammar and paragraph-level writing.. Various class activities, such as brainstorming, topic sentence writing, outlining, group discussion and peer editing, etc. may help students write a well-organized and well supported paragraph. In addition to descriptive and narrative writing, students should be able to write English letters, poetry and short stories. The purposes are to improve students general writing ability, to connect reading and writing, to practice various modes of writing.

Grading Methods and Ratio
45 % (Beginning with Week 1, each student will receive an individual score or grade for each week) 1. Attendance: Attendance is taken for each class beginning with Week 1. 2. Participation 3. Quizzes 30 % Assignments 10% Midterm 15% Final If your absence is a must, please contact me at least one hour BEFORE class via email. Each absence will deduct 5 points from the final grade. Students will gain 5 points to the final grade with 100% attendance and punctuality
