Course Description(Chinese Version)
本課程為全國唯一之創新模組課程,開課內容以同步建構學生之英語基礎能力及英語應用在其專業學科能力為目標,期望各院菁英學生之專業知識與其英語文能力齊頭並進。

本學期的授課目標為專業英語文聽說能力之養成,乃第一階段課程(專業英語文閱讀與寫作)之延伸,本課程的特色兼顧語言之工具性與養成性,除了培育學生在其專業領域能以英語文與他人討論與溝通外,還能運用其專業背景知識進行深度反思及表達自我,並將此能力延伸至下一階段(學期)之專業英語文簡報。
Course Description (English Version)
This module course entails the integration of students’ general English skills into their own specific disciplines, aiming to help students mediate their own subject matter knowledge in English. The course at the second phase of the ESP module program focuses on cultivating students’ listening and speaking skills for studies and communication in relation to the content areas in their own professional fields.

The main goal of this course is to train students to communicate fluently in English with confidence, clarity and ease in any given situation.

55 % (Beginning with Week 1, each student will receive an individual score or grade for each week)
1. Attendance: Attendance is taken for each class beginning with Week 1.

10% Quizzes

15% Midterm: Presentation
20% Final: Presentation

If your absence is a must, please contact me at least one hour BEFORE class via email.
Each absence will deduct 5 points from the final grade.
Students will gain 5 points to the final grade with 100% attendance and punctuality
