3. 論到他兒子─我主耶穌基督。按肉體說，是從大衛後裔生的；
concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh

4. 按聖善的靈說，因從死裡復活，以大能顯明是上帝的兒子。
and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

Jesus Christ, through His resurrection from the dead, was declared with power to be the Son of God. According to the flesh, He is a descendant of David, sharing in the limitations and frailties of human life. Because He is truly human, He understands us, has compassion upon us, and knows us intimately; thus, He is near to us.

Yet according to the Spirit of holiness, He is revealed through His resurrection to be the Son of God. The resurrection stands as the decisive mark of faith, demonstrating His authority over death and manifesting the divine power that raised Him.

No one can recognize the true identity of Jesus by human effort alone; it is only through the revelation of the Holy Spirit that we come to see that He is the Christ. Precisely because He possesses both full humanity and full divinity, He is able not only to sympathize with our condition but also to save us, granting us hope and life.

耶穌基督藉著從死裡復活，以大能顯明他是上帝的兒子。按肉體說，他是大衛的後裔，與人同樣經歷有限與軟弱，因為他是人所以他了解人，他能能體諒人，他能認識人，所以他跟我們非常的親密。

但按聖善的靈說，他因復活被證明是上帝的兒子。復活成為信仰的關鍵，顯出他勝過死亡的權柄，也表明這能力來自上帝。

人無法憑自己認識耶穌的真實身份，唯有聖靈的啟示，使我們看見他是基督。正因他同時具有完全的人性與神性，他既能體恤我們的處境，也能真正拯救我們，使人得著盼望與生命。[註]
