Theme:chatting with old friend
I had a video call (45 minutes) with Cheryl, my American friend who lives in xinjiang now,we talked about my new life and my study in Taiwan,even shared her with my journey to Taipei last weekend,which was full of adventures and unforgettable. And then I tried to be a tour guide,showing her the beautiful scenery in the campus through my phone. It's delightful to chat with my lovely American friend.

Theme:meeting new friends in Providence University
I went to the English mass in the campus which gave me the chance to make friends with Sarah,Dominique,Reagan,Kelli... I was so happy that they still remember my name even though we only had met once! We talked about the mass first, I was so fascinated by the songs. And then we went to the night market to have dinner together ,we talked and laughed a lot.

Theme:The Danish Girl
It's my first time to see a movie in Taichung,my friend Evey and I reached an agreement,that was the Danish girl.When the movie ended,we tried to share our feelings in English (35 minutes). I was so touched by the movie and couldn't help crying in the end.Actually, I didn't realize that Lily couldn't make it,her death was a shock to me even though it's reasonable during that period the medical technology was limited.But Lily's courage and brave should be blessed....

Theme: free chatting
I met Dominique and Reagan on the bus when we heading to Eslite,we talked many topics among the weather, food, transportation,hometown, our families and so on...(40 minutes). So fun to see them on the bus yesterday!
Self-evaluation: I always think that it would be difficult and embarrassed for me to speak English with someone else,especially the foreigners, cause I don't have confidence in my pronunciation,vocabularies,grammar and sentence structure, and with culture difference, I am so afraid that my speech will not make sense. But once I tried, I find it was exciting and interesting,every minute I spent with my partners, the friendship comes in between. It is awesome! And I will push myself to learn more about English.
Good to have 4 "MEC" in one week!

Self-evaluation: My friend and I went to see a movie called "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" I love this kind of movie which based on a true story. It talked about six members of a security team who fight to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya after waves of terrorist attacks on September 11, 2012. My friend and I try to share our opinions by using simple words and we found it difficult to describe our real feelings by using those limited adjectives we learned before.
