Shikotsuko is the most beautiful lake in Hokkaido. It is about one hour drive from Sapporo. The photo was taken beside the lake. There is one camping site named “Bifue Camping Ground” that’s every camper’s dreaming land. Four years ago, I brought two kids here after delivered my husband airport. The distance was not far, but there were no shops to the site. It was deep in the mountains and forest. We saw the wild deer on the way which made my kids very excited.

After arriving the camping site, we chose a great spot. The tent was set up in front of the lake. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Some neighbors played canoe and some were swimming. My kids enjoyed playing in the water and catching shrimps. We did not have enough food next day so we drove down 20 kms away to resting area for nice traditional noodles. 

We stayed here for three days. Everything was great except the last night. It was raining and windy. The lake turned into an ocean because it became wavy and made strange, terrifying sounds. This was an un-plug site so there were no lights. I kept peeking out the tent to check out my neighbors to see if they were awake or not. I had to confirm constantly how far the lake water was every half hour. I was afraid we would be afloat soon…. But kids slept so sweet and not bothered at all.

The rain and wind stopped as the weather forecast said by 3am. My energy was zero and fell asleep when the lake went back to normal. It was an unforgettable night.

This was my first time to teach English in elementary school. The school we went wasn’t too big, but the classroom and the devices in school were very complete. Before the first class, I was nervous about the situation of our class. “Will the children listen to our class and get involve in our activities?” But when we started to teach them, it was quite different than I thought. All of them listened carefully to our class and followed our rules correctly. In the break, the children played in the playground. Some of them were running, some of them were playing the facilities and some of them were playing with their teachers. For me, it was a special experience that I had ever have before.

This photo was taken in August, 2019. I participated the camp in church, and this was my second participation in this camp. We went to China to serve with kids' ministry. We designed activities for children for five days. We all had a good time there and got along with the kids in kindergarten. It was really wonderful that they were interested in the things that I was talking. When I taught the kids English or played with them, I enjoyed being as a teacher from that experience. Hope I can have the jobs about teaching kids in the future.

This is a well-known snack which called roti prata in India. The shape of roti prata looks like a long and thick stick. Whether salty or sweet flavor, you can find at this place. You can see this special stall in Providence University’s night market. As soon as you walk into the night market, you can see a man with dark skin controlling the dough and makes it flies in the air skillfully also smell fragrant of dough. If I go to the night market, I must buy this. Because I am addicted to the texture of it and I will get lower price but more contents every time.

There are two-row houses on the left and right sides of a clean street. Those traditional wooden buildings are all two stories. Some girls wearing kimonos walked at the side of road along with the gentle breeze cooling their faces. Two of them carried flower cloth bags in their right hands. If you are there, you can feel the atmosphere of peace and calm. Most of the houses on the long road are souvenir shops. Therefore, if you like shopping, your eyeballs may be attracted by those stuffs being sold in the shops. Afterwards, you would walk into the stores unconsciously.

That was the first concert I went in my entire life. 

I remember the excitement running through my veins before the concert begin. The Taipei Arena Station was huge and you can feel the wildness of the fans. Especially when all the EXO members show up on the stage. You can see how much effort they spend to hold this concert. The music, the performance, the lights, the settings. Everything was so perfect that you can't find anything to dissatisfied with. Even though the concert had held for more than 3 hours. But it feels like 3 minutes for me. Almost like it ended in a blink of an eye. And I will never forget this amazing 3 hours in my life. Since I shout so hard that I almost broke my throat.

From this image, obviously, there are two people standing in the middle of the field. The smiling girl is me, and the man behind me is my grandfather. This photo was taken by my grandmother about fifteen years ago. The trees surrounding us are guava trees, grown by my grandparents. Their great orchard is located in Yanchao district of Kaohsiung city. The reason why I was there perhaps they worried about me staying at home alone, therefore they took me to work together for the sake of looking after me. I look delightful, so does my grandfather.

They are my dolls as the faithful friends. They company me going through a lot of tough and lonely time. When I face some onerous things in my daily life, which causes me feeling helpless, depressed, and anxious, I will convey my emotions to them. They will hear my speech silently with their warm smiles. Their smiles make me think that they will support me no matter what happened to me. I don’t feel ignored although there aren’t any responses. Furthermore, they won’t leave me regardless. Because of them, I sleep with less solitude after my sister living outside. Besides, I feel relieved if they are by my side when the thunder is rumbling, or the power goes out. They seem to be the incarnations of justice to overwhelm those evil forces. Dolls aren’t just objects. They can also be our precious and indispensable friends of life.
