Romans 2:12-16 全世界都降伏在上帝的審判之下

「凡沒有律法犯了罪的，也必不按律法滅亡；凡在律法以下犯了罪的，也必按律法受審判。（原來在神面前，不是聽律法的為義，乃是行律法的稱義。沒有律法的外邦人若順著本性行律法上的事，他們雖然沒有律法，自己就是自己的律法。這是顯出律法的功用刻在他們心裡，他們是非之心同作見證，並且他們的思念互相較量，或以為是，或以為非。）就在神藉耶穌基督審判人隱祕事的日子，照著我的福音所言」（羅馬書2:12-16）。

For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even accuse them on the day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.

上帝不偏待人，上帝審判猶太人跟審判非猶太人，祂會按照不同的情況去審判。因為猶太人領受上帝的律法，上帝就用律法來審判猶太人。至於那些沒有律法的非猶太人，沒有得到特殊的啟示，上帝就用他們的良知、心裡的道德、良知之律來審判他們。雖然人的罪惡扭曲了上帝的形象，但上帝的形象仍然存在，他們按著良心仍知道什麼是對的，什麼是錯的。

結論就是：全世界都降伏在上帝的審判之下。並且，上帝審判人的隱密事。我們的心是最隱密的，我們心裡所想的一切，上帝都要審判。[註]
