In the past, people thought that bats were rodents, however bats weren’t the same as they thought. In fact bats has the similar skeleton that just like human’s. Some people though bats can’t see, however they have echolocation to keep them away from danger. Bats also perform a numerous valuable function, but nowadays “sixty percent of bats do not survive past infancy” because of the predators and human intrusions. to sum up bats”unusual physical features should not lead us to overestimate their harm or to underestimate their value”.

This article is talking about bats, that they are not rodents and blind. They are mammals, and their hands’ bones are like humans. However, they can’t see colors, they use a method called echolocation. There are many kinds of bats, and one of them called bumblebee bat. About seventy percent of bats are eating insects. Others are eating fruits, nectar, flowers…. The vampire bat is in Latin America and eating the blood of cattle. Actually bats are good for environment, that they can eat mosquitoes and spread the seeds. Bats are eaten by some creatures, so their population is dropping down in six years.

The greatest contribution to Agricultural economy from bat is in eliminating insect pests. It can catch hundreds of mosquito in an hour and eat half their body weight insects every night. So the fruits or flowers grow well . 

滿足與喜樂

雖然我每一週在大學授課時數非常地多，還要一邊照顧七個月大的寶寶，時常忙到沒有時間好好坐下來喝杯水，雖然辛苦，但在辛苦中卻有滿滿的喜樂。我從未懷念只有兩個人的世界，我巴不得想把孩子帶到每一個我所去的地方，巴不得整日抱著她，整日跟她在一起。有些媽媽們嚮往的一點點「沒孩子時的自由」，我還沒有這樣嚮往過。

我沈浸在這奇妙的生命所帶給我的滿足與喜樂當中。每日，聽聽一睡醒張開眼時，我都很自然地想對她說I love you，而且說上好幾十次也不嫌多。聽聽也知道媽媽的愛，總是以笑容回應。

聽聽有一位很好的父親，他愛我們勝過愛他自己，雖然加班到晚上九點多回來了，還是溫柔地對著我們說：妳們辛苦了。雖然我們沒有自己的房子，也只有一台開了18年的老車，但我們總是覺得什麼都有了。雖然我們常常覺得忙翻了，但我們還是充滿喜樂，充滿力量。這樣的愛與喜樂，源自於我們所信的上帝，因為我們深深地知道祂愛我們，並賜下生命，保守、看顧我們。

我愛聽聽，我想要給她很多很多，能夠給她什麼最好呢？從聽聽在母腹中，聽爸爸已經嘗試把最好的給聽聽了，就是每日帶她讀上帝的話語，帶她禱告，因為上帝才是我們生命價值、意義的源頭，若我們對聽聽的愛沒有辦法讓她認識這生命價值與意義的源頭，所謂再多的愛與快樂，都將只是短暫的滿足。
