  9. I think he should tell his dad.
Because his dad has the right to know and can use the remaining time to complete some unfinished things.
Although this decision will be difficult, but I think this is the best decision for his dad.

  10. Each patients have the right to know what's happening on their body, even it's painful to bear the truth, you still need to give them a chance to make a decision with their own body.
Don't let him died with regret. If you really love him, you should tolerate his pain, accompany him in the rest of his life.

I think it's time to tell Yumi's father about cancer. There is no regret for letting my father die, and I can go to heaven with peace of mind.

  13. I think that Yumi’s opinion is right. Patients have the rights to know about their diseases. We shouldn’t cheat on them. They maybe have things to do before they die, even it may make the disease worse. We should think of them. And cherish the time you spend with them.

  16. The writer’s family is trying to hide the truth but she think her father should know.
In my opinion, the patient need to know what’s happening to him.
The patient should be able to use whatever time he has left.
The writer should speak her mind and discuss it with her mother.

  17. I think his father has right to know about it.
Because every single human being need to face their struggles and adventures of their own life, even the lie is good for him....And I think we’re not sure about that, maybe the person who is dying knows how to deal with it by himself. So, it isn’t fair to hide the truth, I think her mother needs to think it twice. The truth is, her mother is afraid of everything. And Yumi is the one who faces the truth and being strong.

  19. I think the patient has the right to know about his or her disease.
Each of us has the right to "know", "choose" and "decide" about our disease. Knowing the condition and subsequent changes, and confirming the treatment methods that can be done later, there is a way to further allow patients to have time to communicate with their family members, discuss whether to implement some relevant medical measures at the end of life, and let patients and family love , Say thank you, say sorry, say goodbye.

  20. Since you care your dad so much, I think you can spent time with him, ask him how does he thought about death, or if there is anything he want to do before he die? Persuade him don’t regret in the end of life. Talk about death with him, if you know that what is exactly he want, then I think telling him he’s dying doesn’t matter really much.
Once, you don’t have to fight with your mom. Second, you know your dad has no regrets and can die peacefully.

  22. I think the patient has the right to know about his or her disease.
Asia ’s first special law to protect patients ’autonomy rights came into force on January 6, 2019 in Taiwan.
“The Patient's Autonomy Rights Act” The three main purposes are: to respect the medical autonomy of patients, to protect their rights of hospice, and to promote a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients. The main content is to ensure that patients can think in advance and indicate what kind of medical care measures they want to take when they are in a specific severe or clinical condition, including whether they need life-sustaining treatment (such as respirator) or artificial nutrition and fluid Feeding (such as nasogastric tube feeding).
At the same time, “The Patient's Autonomy Rights Act” requires that medical institutions, doctors, and family members of patients must respect and, according to the wishes of the patients, faithfully perform appropriate medical care for the patients, and must not violate the wishes and decisions of the patients.
